I’m always looking for ways to pare down and reduce our amount of storage, but while I’m in the childbearing years, obtaining and storing a lot of “stuff” is almost inevitable. Especially when it comes to my wardrobe. I’m not currently pregnant, but I still feel like I’m “in the trenches” with other child-bearing mothers and I am always on the lookout for a lovely maternity outfit that looks chic, functional, and flattering. I really enjoyed getting to search through the BellyMoms site and admire all of the cute options. I was delighted to receive a BellyMoms nursing top, and I couldn’t be happier with it! This is the Wrap and Tie Polka Dot Print 3/4 Sleeves Nursing Top in Black. The neckline is adjustable, as in it can be easily placed higher or lower according to your preference and stay in place. The tie goes behind the back and ties together at the side, helping to create a lovely silhouette as it accentuates the midsection.

This top would absolutely be perfect for any stage of pregnancy because the the front isn’t saggy or too loose during the early stages and the 95% Rayon, 5% Spandex adjusts beautifully to a growing belly. I wish you could feel how very soft and extremely comfortable this fabric is. This is exactly what you want right against your skin when you feel more uncomfortable than ever before.

I wore this to church last week (without the pillow prop!) and my husband said he wouldn’t have guessed it was a maternity top at all. It really is designed well, especially when you consider that it also has breastfeeding features. Did you guess this was also nursing-friendly? By loosening the tie at the side, you can access openings at the sides that comfortably allow you to breastfeed without having to lift up the shirt or pull down from the top. You remain very concealed as you modestly nurse and then quickly put yourself back together by re-tying the sash. I love how easy and simple the entire process is!

I noticed that a lot of the clothing options from BellyMoms can be dressed up or down, making it easy to simplify your maternity wardrobe for anything from casual occasions to the workplace.
